Should you share your DNA?

Event Times:
14:00-16:00
Event Details
Science from the Start and WECIL (West of England Centre for Inclusive Living), in association with UWE Bristol, are hosting a British Science Association Future Debate, exploring whether or not we should share our DNA.

We will consider the benefits and risks of sharing DNA data. What about your privacy? Should you share it with healthcare systems? What about private companies? Is there a responsibility to donate DNA, like we do with blood and organs?

This event will be interactive, accessible and open to all aged 16+. Absolutely no prior knowledge required!

Refreshments will be provided.

Booking is essential: dna-share-bristol.eventbrite.co.uk

Coordinated by British Science Association and Sponsored by Genomics England.
