Visit the amazing medieval barn built in 1342 and marvel at the skill of medieval builders. Celebrate the Great British Orchard with apple displays and information, and experts on hand to identify apple varieties. See the 200 year old cider press and Victorian stone apple mill - and taste the cider made in the Barn. Have a go at making your own drink on the Smoothie Bikes! Enjoy ferret-racing, a working steam engine, RaptorCare’s falcons and hawks, a variety of local crafts and rural skills, Winterbourne Down Border Morris, live music from Bygonz, the Frampton Shantymen and others, stalls, animals, apple bobbing, face-painting, and other children’s activities. Locally sourced high quality food and drink available all day including Old Sodbury Lamb, Harcombe savouries and sweets catering, Ice Cream from Icicle-tricycle, Three Engineers beer and Haythorn cider.
Assistance and well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. Dogs remain the responsibility of the owner within the grounds of the Barn. A great day out with something for all ages. Car parking £2 per car in aid of The Alzheimers Society.
