Event Details
Lindsay will talk about her experience of training at the Bristol Botanic Garden under the Work and Retrain As a Gardener Scheme (WRAGS) through to her current career in landscape architecture.

Having worked in the graphic design industry for ten years, she decided to make a career change in 2007 to study garden design. As her plant knowledge was limited she volunteered at the Botanic Garden and this led to a year’s training through WRAGS. When she finished the training, she worked with a company called PU&H. She now works for landscape architects Colvin & Moggridge on a range of projects from private estates to public spaces.

This lecture is organised by the Friends of the University of Bristol Botanic Garden.

This lecture will be held at the Frank Theatre, Wills Physics Laboratory, Tyndall Avenue, Bristol, BS8 1TL.

All lectures start at 7.30pm (except in March) and are free to Friends on production of their membership card. Visitors will be asked for a donation (suggested £5). Attendees can use any University car park: the nearest are in University Walk and The Hawthorns (no booking is necessary).
