Over a century on from the British going into war in 1914, we visit some of the graves of service personnel and civilians from both World Wars at rest in Arnos Vale.

Discover Arnos Vale’s Great War memorial that was built in 1921 at Soldiers’ Corner with stones that mark the graves of Great War casualties who died in Bristol’s hospitals.Learn about the stories of individual service personnel and view their graves. Find out about the stories of those who helped and supported these service personnel. From underage conscripts to the war at home, this tour reveals the individual stories and sacrifices of wartime visiting War memorials and family graves across the cemetery.
