Description: Visitors to the Botanic Garden will have seen the stainless steel kapok flower given to the City of Bristol by the Mayor of Guangzhou and Friends will have read in the summer 2018 newsletter about Nick Wray’s trip with Tony Harrison in April 2018 to Guangdon Province, China. In this lecture Nick will tell us more detail about their travels and some of the people they met, including visits to Guangzhou Botanic Garden and a tea plantation in the Yingde Mountains, fully illustrated with beautiful photographs.
